Dr. Trish Sullivan, Ed.D.

Smiling teacher stands in colorful, welcoming classroom.

Founder, Mother, Educational Leader

Dr. Trish Dykes-Sullivan grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She made Atlanta, Georgia her home in 2016 where she worked as a Catholic school teacher in grades kindergarten through 5th, gaining 15+ years of experience. Her love for teaching and learning developed when she noticed the joy and confidence children develop when they've mastered a new skill.

She has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Master's degree in Teaching and Leadership, and a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. She also holds a principal certification and believes strongly that educators should remain lifelong learners who continually grow alongside the children and families they serve.

Dr. Sullivan transitioned out of the classroom to become a stay-at-home mom to her three children. One of her toddlers is a former 25-weeker, Hydrocephalus warrior, who spent 105 days in the NICU. Her family's journey navigating hydrocephalus, medical care, therapy, and early development deepened her commitment to advocating for children with disabilities and developmental differences. Teaching and caring for her own children in a home environment ultimately inspired Dr. Sullivan to create The LOL Center, where children can receive individualized attention, learn through purposeful play, and experience the joy of being supported.
