Our Mission

At The LOL Center, our mission is to provide safe and nurturing child care services that promote child development and growth. We strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where children can learn and play.

We are an in-home daycare with the believe that laughter is the cornerstone of joyful learning. We've crafted a unique educational experience focused on play-based curriculum and hands-on exploration. Our approach nurtures critical thinking skills, empowering children to conquer challenges with creativity.

Diversity is celebrated within our walls, recognizing the multitude of learning styles within the classroom. Through differentiated instruction, we strive to meet the unique needs of every child. We are proud to welcome families from the greater Atlanta area, fostering a faith-filled environment where all are embraced, respected, and valued.

We recognize the significance of faith-based development and incorporate it into our daily activities. Our teachers encourage prayer before meals, engage in reading activities with children's Bibles, and instill respect for classmates and belongings. Additionally, we introduce the beauty of language early on, incorporating beginning Spanish as research supports language acquisition in early childhood.

Researched-Based Practices

At the heart of our mission is a commitment to social and emotional learning (SEL). Our curriculum integrates five core SEL concepts — self-awareness, social-awareness, responsible decision-making, relationship skills, and self-management. These skills empower children to apply their knowledge both within and beyond the classroom.

Project-Based Learning (PBL) is a teaching approach where students engage in real-world, meaningful projects that encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and creativity. It fosters foundational skills in a way that is meaningful and developmentally appropriate for young children.
